The Magic of Eye Exercises – How Does Vision Training Work?

A third of all Americans now suffer from blurry vision – and yet, only a tiny fraction of them know about the magic of eye exercises.

Every day, more people are diagnosed with common refractive errors such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and aging vision. Yet the only options they are given for are eye glasses / contacts (which become a permanent vision crutch) or laser eye surgery (which is invasive and comes with risks).

What about eye exercises? Most traditional optometrists aren’t formally training in eye strengthening and relaxation exercises, yet this is still a viable option for people seeking cheap and pain-free natural vision correction.

Let’s take a closer look at eye exercises and how they can improve your vision.

What Are Eye Exercises?

Eye exercises (also known as vision therapy) is a way of reducing eye strain and increasing your ability to focus naturally without glasses. With daily practice, they encourage your eyes to function better naturally without any artificial lenses.

The exercises most commonly used involve stretching unused eye muscles, relaxing over-strained muscles, focusing both eyes together, and focusing on close-up and far-away tasks (with emphasis on the ones you find blurrier).

In just a few days, you may notice a difference in your natural vision. And within weeks, some people can have dramatic vision improvement verified by an optometrist’s eye exam. Then it is only a matter of time before reaching natural visual acuity of 20/40 or better without glasses.

Will Eye Exercises Work for Me?

There are some easy ways to tell if eye exercises can help your eyesight:

  • Do you ever notice variations in your natural eyesight, day to day?
  • Do you ever blink and have sharper vision for a few seconds?
  • Do you find your vision becomes clearer in certain light conditions?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you may benefit from relaxing and strengthening your focus with eye exercises.

The majority of people with blurry vision in the world today simply suffer from basic eye muscle weakness, fatigue or co-ordination problems which are caused by the near-point stresses of everyday living.

Eye exercises can also help people with aging vision problems, which appear from the age of 40 years and onwards. This condition (known as presbyopia) means your eyes are less flexible and can benefit from simple stretching exercises.

Can My Child Do Eye Exercises?

Yes. I personally encourage it because your child’s eyes are still developing and will benefit even more from regular stretching and relaxing of the eye muscles. Sp please do consider eye exercises for your child before condemning them to a lifetime of eye glasses and poor natural vision.

The only requirements for children doing vision therapy is that they are consistent in their practice and follow your instructions carefully. It is possible that children under 10 years may have difficulty following the routines accurately and so they will need your personal support and tuition.

Where Can I Find a Reputable Eye Exercise Program?

I recommend Rebuild Your Vision for an effective and easy-to-use eye exercise program. It is well-presented and contains all the training tools you need to reduce your nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and aging vision.

I think everyone should be encouraged to try this cheaper, safer and more natural method of vision improvement to create better vision for life.
